OUR MISSION

Our images represent the way you live your life from one real moment to the next. We display our subjects, no matter the person-place-or event, with grace and honesty. The sessions are fun, energetic, and full of life. The images taken will display a nice mix of romantic portraiture, photojournalism, and traditional portraiture. We will look for the unguarded moment as these images represent you as a person. In additions, we create your posed image as you want it to be presented to your family and friends.

BIO

Photographer Lisa Grimm started off taking courses at Washtenaw Community College to get some education background. But for the most part I am self-taught, attending seminars, workshops and study groups. I have been shooting weddings for over 10 years and love my job. I think my favorite part of the wedding is when they open the doors and the bride is ready to walk down the isle on arm with her dad . . . I just love the expression on her face. Both mothers are usually in the front row with tears. My business has grown as have I over the years. I hope to shoot each event using my past experiences and current experiences to always keep my images new and fresh. With a little prayer and talent, I hope to do this forever.

STYLE WITH LISA'S

Traditional:

Used when posed pictures are paramount. Bride and Groom are posed creatively with different combinations of family and friends. Storytelling consists of posing people to tell the story the photographer invisions. Candids consist of reception hightlights usually involving 1st dance, father and daughter dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc.

Artistic Romance:

Wedding events and relationships are studied to find their meaning, and emphasis is on creativity through perspective, hidden layers in photographs, and subject to subject relationships using light, form, and shapes as tools to express. Telephoto lense and lense filters are often used.

Fashion:

Stylized portraits, people shots, and scene setting photographs drawn from fashion trends are usually implemented. Poses often are dramatic through creative lighting techniques, selective focus areas, and lense effects.
